Just like to say a big THANKYOU to all the Young Farmers who came to Blackpool this weekend. The photographs say it all really! It was great to see everyone having a good time. The view from the stage was fantastic! As always we caught up with old friends and made new ones too. As I announced to you all this was my last AGM as the front man of the AC Roadshow. The AC Roadshow will be hosted in future by some of our new talented DJs including the infamous Longridge Young Farmer, James Rickard. It has been my greatest pleasure to have been the DJ at so many AGMs in Blackpool and the Ilse of Man over the past 26 years making many friends on the way. Our warmest best wishes go to Pam Shields who retired from AGM duties this time as well. Pam works tirelessly for the YFC and we wish her well. Whilst we have both retired, I know we will both be somewhere in the background. Finally the AC Roadshow Crew were sadenned by the untimely death of David Neath the Engineering Manager at the Wintergardens earlier this year. David has helped us in many ways over the years at this fantastic Victorian Ballroom and always made us welcome. Our sympathy goes to his family and colleagues who we know sadly miss him and we dedicate the memories and pictures of this weekend to him, we will not forget him. Chris Knagg CMIOSH MIIRSM MNOEA
