Aquarius Acoustics, "The Sound People", supply a full and wide service to the industry including hire, sales, installations and repairs. We have the capabilities and experience to do anything in type of venue; we have from 1K to 100K of sound power enough to rock even the best of all worlds. Whether it be a local gig in a small theatre or a world tour Aquarius Acoustics can provide what you need. We are the North West's most experienced professional audio company and travel the length and breadth of the country as well as the rest of Europe. Whether it is Rock & Roll, Blues, Pop, Country, Dance or a full Symphony Orchestra our talented staff turn all music into pure pleasure to listen to. If it's a back room party at a pub, a big Public Arena or an outdoor event of any size, we take the same care in producing the best possible sounds, from a one man and his guitar or the biggest entertainers in the world.

2010 Update

As it has been a while since our last update, quite a lot has happened!

Some of you will probably know, bright lites uk shared our premises here, as neil has expanded, he has moved into larger premises a few miles away in burnley. We are still working together as we did before, just from 2 different premises. This made his space available for us to use. after a lot of thought & research, we decided to turn the space into a rehearsal room & studio / training room which is now complete!

The rehearsal room is approx 20ft x 16ft fully carpeted & has some basic backline in it (guitar amp, bass rig and a drum kit by arrangement).

there is a 1200w vocal PA system installed with all microphones, stands, di's required.

Please feel free to contact us for rates, times are flexible as there is someone here most of the time. The studio runs on a pro-tools HD2 vers.8 system, which is also available for touring as it flight cased & ready to roll. This interfaces directly with the Digidesign venue we have. We also have a rack of 32ch of pre-amps with splits to interface with other systems. We are not marketing ourselves as a 'recording studio' as such, the plan is to have the facility to record gigs out on the road, bring them back here to mix down.

The plan is also to be able to record directly from the rehearsal room to produce a demo CD for bands playing in there if they request it.

also we now have the facility to train people up on digital (and analogue) consoles in a separate, comfortable environment. The studio is equipped with a Digidesign C24 surface with 2 sets of Nearfeild monitoring (Tannoy reveal & court SM30) there are also 2 tannoy B950 subs as needed.

As regards to the hire side of the business, we have added another Yamaha M7CL-48 console to the hire stock (now making 3) & the pro-tools HD2 system previously mentioned above.
